The internal mother manifests herself in times of hurt. Do you know how to nurture yourself? In times of hunger, do you properly nourish yourself? In times of anger, how does the mother act?
What negative behaviors of your mother are you repeating, and which ones are you constantly trying to overcompensate?
Do you know how to be completely devotional to love? Or are you either too open or too closed off?
What happened? Turn within and search for the truth of your relationship with your mother.
What does it reveal to you?
Without addressing the Mother, we cannot flow in life and spiritually.
You chose the mother you had/have for a reason. Accepting that will reveal the real essence of your path. If you did not have a balanced goddess as a mother/mother figure, you were meant to learn from that, to blossom into your own inner mother and learn from deep within, how to nourish yourself and the world around you.
- Make a list of the characteristics of your mother, positive and negative.
- Make a list of how those traits might be manifesting in you and your life.
For example, if your mom used to bully you, a way in which you might play this out is by putting yourself in situations where you feel superior than others, so that you can be the bully. Overcompensating for how you felt.
Or if for some reason you did not feel that your mother loved you as a child (or even now), you might compulsively put yourself in situations where you need her help, to test her love and confirm it, to reassure you.

The mother in you lives through how you love, how you nurture and how you flow.
